2016 ABA Scholarships

The ABA is pleased to be able to award 6 scholarships to graduating seniors from 6 local high schools. Scholarships are based on academics, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and a 300 word essay. The deadline to apply for the $750 scholarship is April 1, 2016. The winners will be notified via mail no later than April 20th. Scholarship monies will be mailed directly to the 2 or 4 year college/university of the recipient's choice. 

Seven scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors at the Acworth Business Association. The following young ladies each received a scholarship of $750.00. (l-r)
Riley O'Neill, North Cobb High School. GPA 4.59, will attend University of Alabama.
Emily Bontrager, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GPA 4.679, will attend John Hopkins University.
Caroline Pepper, Harrison High School, GPA 4.3, will attend Covenant College
Olivia Norris, Cornerstone Prep - GPA 4.16, will attend KSU.
Laura Allen, Allatoona High School, GPA 4.575, will attend UGA
Amanda Walters - North Paulding High School, 104 average, will attend Georgia Tech, not present
