LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:

“Back to Business”

The Acworth Business Association (ABA) is off to a great start.  We began the year with over 200 in attendance to hear the State of the City address by Mayor Tommy Allegood.  The Mayor shared why we are the City of “Big Hearts”.

This past January, the ABA launched a brand new website!  This site is more user-friendly and is a tool to help you in networking with other local businesses.  We encourage you to do business with other businesses that you will find in our directory.

You will also find details for upcoming luncheons, Alive After Five events and other special events.  We have also made it simple and easy for you to pay for luncheons, events and memberships.  The website is another resource that we want to provide for your business.  Check it out today!

Our January AA5 event at the YMCA was well attended and I could see business relationship’s being built.  Thank you to Jude Dooley for your membership and support of the ABA.

In February we will continue getting “Back to Business” with a very accomplished speaker Eddie Williams of Eddie Williams Consulting Group, LLC.  Eddie is a West Point graduate and former U.S. Army Airborne, Ranger and Green Beret.  He has held positions of increased responsibility in Sales, Marketing and Sales Management.  Eddie holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University’s Executive-MBA Program. See his bio   http://www.eddie-williams.com/

Our business seminar for February that takes place before our luncheon will focus on “Using Facebook to grow your business”.  This is a free seminar for our members.  Make sure to like us on Facebook:  http://www.facebook.com/AcworthBusinessAssociation

The ABA has a fantastic Board of Directors that would like to help you get involved with in the ABA.

 “Back to Business”
