Happy Holidays from the ABA Leadership team! What a wonderful year the Acworth business community has shared. In 2017, President Danielle Hilderbrand encouraged everyone to “Celebrate Unity in the Community” and we saw our local business owners, government, law enforcement, schools, churches, and others unite to: 1) raise the tide for greater economic success for our local business owners and professionals like you, and their families, and 2) impact our community as a whole through scholarships for our local students, partnering with our YMCA to feed hungry kids, giving back to our veterans with the American Legion, hosting the Special Olympics Polar Plunge with the men and women of the Acworth Police Department, and much much more.
Year after year our membership continues to break records. Growing to over 320 members and collectively we gave over $31,000 to back to impact our community this year.
Like Acworth, the ABA is successful because of you. That’s right, YOU are the difference maker. You invest your time, leverage your talents, and serve our community. While serving alongside one another, we create a better future for each of us in the Acworth community, writing another chapter in the ABA story.
I want to invite you to…
• Connect with our over 320 members at our Luncheon, Morning Jolt, and Alive After 5 each month.
• Promote and grow your business through Morning Jolt, Member Spotlights, and event Sponsorships like Taste of Acworth, our Love the Lake events, and our Annual Golf Tournament.
• Give as we partner with our schools, demonstrate our appreciation for teachers, and support our community through countless Gifts of Love.
Now is the time to renew your membership. For your convenience, we are offering additional membership packages, allowing you to better promote your business and save. Please see the reverse side of this page for package details. All members who renew, or any new member that joins by December 31st, will enjoy a complimentary lunch at the January 11th Monthly Luncheon. To renew, complete the form online at www.acworthbusiness.org.
The Acworth Business Association provides a platform for businesses, schools, churches, and government to come together to share ideas and pass referrals.
It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to serve the Acworth Business Association and community as President in 2018. I look forward to working together to “Show up, Dive in, and Stay at it” in 2018.
